The seemingly insoluble problem of Kashmir is nothing but the collective shame of politicians and diplomats on both sides of the border. I feel deeply sad, helpless and heartbroken for all the involved parties trying to fight and defend a 8220;version of truth8221;, assuming it to be the ultimate.

We8217;ve been at each other8217;s throats for 51 years now! If sports, arts and culture do not succeed in resolving our animosity, nothing else will. Yes, Pakistanis must play in India and Mumbai. Left to politicians, we will never be able to see the end of differences. Because the likes of Thackeray are after sound bytes, not solutions!
