Enduring Image timings extended
The British Council and National Gallery of Modern Art has extended the timings of the Enduring Image8217; exhibition of artifacts from the British Museum from 10 am to 5 pm up to 7 pm on Thursdays. The exhibition, on at the NGMA, Sir Cowasjee Jehangir Public Hall, M G Road, closes on the May 3.
Industrial safety awards
The M/s Industrial Solvents and Chemicals Ltd has bagged the first prize for Best Safety Performance Award Competition for 1997 in the small chemical category. The company, manufacturing drugs and chemicals, has bagged this award for the third time in a row. The awards, instituted by the Thane Manufacturers Association and Directorate of Industrial Safety were presented at a recent ceremony.
