The former India skipper was at a loss for words to describe the present team8217;s batting display. quot;The inexperience of the batsmen was perhaps the reason,quot; he added.
Gavaskar, who was in the capital as part of the ESPN commentary team however, was happy that some youngsters were coming good. He had special mention for Ajit Agarkar, Hrishikesh Kanitkar and Rahul Sanghvi.
