MUMBAI, May 13: It was a day of delays for commuters on both the Central and Western Railways on Wednesday. Local trains on both these sections were thrown out of gear following two separate incidents. WR locals ran over 20 minutes late this morning after the Mumbai-bound Flying Ranee broke down on the fast corridor between Bandra and Mahim at around 10 am. The track was cleared only by 10.45 am, with over 20 trains being diverted along the slow track. Following this, Virar and Borivli fast trains were held up. Earlier, CR locals ran half-an-hour late following derailment of 3 goods wagons between Thane and Mulund.
