The results of the IIT Joint Entrance Examinations 8217;97 will be declared on August 19 and the same will appear in newspapers on August 20.

Eye check-up

On August 20, the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, free computerised eye check-up camps will be organised by Mumbai North-Central District Youth Congress Committee in different parts of the city. One of the main venues where spectacles will also be distributed is Panchayati Gurudwara Hall, Building No 2, J K Bhasin Road, Sion Koliwada, GTB Nagar, Mumbai -37. The camps will remain open between 10 am and 3 pm on Wednesday.
