Even as L K Advani, Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu were talking to a sulking Gopinath Munde, a couple of former Pramod Mahajan aides were in constant touch with Munde8217;s family. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who had closely worked with Pramod Mahajan, was in contact with both Munde and his niece Poonam. While he initially commiserated with Munde, on the second day of the crisis he asked the Maharashtra leader to fly to Delhi 8220;at the earliest8221; to resolve the crisis. By then, Munde had assured the leadership of his presence in Delhi on the following morning.
