Mubarak discuss peace developments

CAIRO, MAY 27: Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak called Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to discuss peace developments following Israel8217;s withdrawal, Egypt8217;s Mena news agency said.

The two leaders yesterday discussed quot;developments on the peace process in the light of the Israeli pullout from Lebanon,quot; the State-run agency said. Israeli forces retreated on May 22 and 23 from the zone they had occupied for 22 years. Their telephone conversation also covered quot;communicationsquot; on the Palestinian track of the Arab-Israeli peace process, Mena said.
