NEW DELHI, May 9: Five armed men barged into a house and decamped with Rs 65,000, jewellery and a Maruti Zen in Mahindru enclave of the Model Town area this morning. Two of the assailants had country made revolvers, and the other three, knives.

According to DCP northwest Satyendra Garg, the description provided by the victims reveal that the assailants are in their early 20s and belong to UP and Bihar.

8220;Gurdev Singh Gujral, the owner of the house, has the impression that he has met one of the assailants. He is trying to figure out where he has met the person.8221;

Gujral, who runs a transport business on Roshanara Road, was with his wife and daughter and her friend in their B-5, Mahindru Enclave when the assailants knocked on the door at about 3 p.m. 8220;Household help Durga religiously opened the door. The assailants barged in and threatened the family with dire consequences if they were not lead to wherever the money was kept,8221; the DCP said. The assailants proceeded to open the almirahs and took whatever they found. Before leaving they asked Gujral for the keys of his Maruti Zen DES 5 which was parked outside the house.
