In another encounter, Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies SIMS prevailed over Sinhagad Institute of Management SIOM via the sudden-death after being locked at two goals apiece in regular-time.

SIMS took the lead through Sandeep Desai in the 23rd minute, but their joy was short-lived as Zuber found the equaliser shortly.

Zuber put SIOM ahead with a fine goal, but Sandeep Desai restored parity via a penalty-kick awarded to SIMS. After a level-score in the tie-breaker, the sudden-death that ensued saw SIMS emerge victorious.
