Minorities Front flays Vajpayee

CHANDIGARH, Jan 5: The All-India Dalits and Minorities Welfare Front has criticised Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee for his remarks alleging a quot;foreign handquot; in the Gujarat incidents without ascertaining the reality.

In a press release issued here today, general secretary of the Front O.P. Kalyana lamented the way the Prime Minister tried to pass the buck and demanded that he set his house in order first. He also flayed the PM for his quot;non-secularquot; statements after the Madhya Pradesh incidents against nuns.

Criticising the attacks on minorities in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, Kalyana said it was the duty of the government to provide protection to the minority communities from all kinds of anti-social elements.
