Megacity plot holders can breathe easy

Vanrai president Mohan Dharia said that henceforth the government should adopt a policy of involving land owners as partners in the commercial projects it undertakes. Sudhakar Velankar, president of the Plot Dharak Sanghatana and a plot holder in the megacity project area, has received the legal right to get a developed plot from the government in the project area itself. He said that the sanghatana had demanded that the government make a clear relation between the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and the plot holders.
