MUMBAI, Oct 5.; M B Union recorded their second consecutive win to head the Division I table with 11 points at the end of the eighth round of the Dr H D Kanga League Cricket Tournament. They drubbed Karnataka by nine wickets at the Cross Maidan to register their victory and earn three points.

A century by opener Ojaz Mehta went in vain as his side Young Comrade lost to Young Friends by four wickets at the P J Hindu Gymkhana. Mehta8217;s knock of 115 14215;4, 2215;6 and his 161-run partnership for the first wicket with Sunil Limaye 62 helped Young Comrade to declare at 221 for four. An unbeaten knock of 87 by Aslam Shaikh with four sixes and eight fours and his 80 runs partnership for the sixth wicket with Srikant Pednekar 32 put them on the victory path.
