Marathon on Dec 25

Residents and those studying in the schools or colleges of the tricity are eligible to participate in the marathon. Entries will be accepted between 10 am and 4 pm on December 22, 23 and 24 at the Sports Complex.

There would be a 5-kilometre run for two categories including boys and girls under 15 years and for those under 18 years. Another category would be open for a 12-km run. A 1.5-km run would also be held for senior citizens.

Proof of age will be required at the time of registration. A special 800m run for men and 400m run for women councillors, officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation will also be held in the Athletic Track of the Sports Complex.
