India8217;s Harsh Mankad, sensibly, does not go ga-ga over his occasional wins over bigger players. On Sunday, here, the 25-year-old Mumbaikar moved a step closer to qualifying for the main draw of the ATP Chennai Open with a 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 win over Andy Ram Israel. And then said, 8216;8216;I believe there is a lot to improve upon.8217;8217;

Ram is 108 spots above Mankad in the ATP list, but Mankad explains why he is taking things easy: 8216;8216;The win is one of the bigger wins I8217;ve achieved over the past six. But big wins will come.8217;8217; Having missed out of a place in the 2004 US Open by a single rank after achieving a career high of 280, Mankad believes that in a field so tough one cannot set aims. 8216;8216;I think playing qualifying puts me in better perspective. Though everybody dreams of earning a wild card, which I must say works out cheaper in terms of economics.8217;8217;
