LTTE declares ceasefire for SAARC Summit

Stating that their8217;s liberation struggle, the LTTE said they had no enmity with anyone.

The LTTE had earlier signed ceasefire with the government in 2002 which was called off by the Sri Lankan government early this year as the hostilities between the two sides were continuing unabated.

The Sri Lanka government last week decided to set up 8220;High Security Zones8221; in and around Colombo to provide foolproof safety for top leaders who will be visiting the Lankan capital to attend the summit.
