Kochin’s strike force threat for Bagan

SALGAOCAR MATCH PUT OFF: FC Kochin’s home match against Salgaocar, Goa, scheduled in Kochi on February 14, has been postponed, according to Kerala Football Association (KFA) sources. The new date would be intimated later.

Earlier, the match between FC Kochin and Dempo, which was to be played here on February 8, was also postponed due to non-availability of the ground.

The uncertainity had come about as the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where the NFL matches were played, had been allotted for the conduct of the One-day International cricket match between India and South Africa on March 9.

Colaco had recently visited the Dr Ambedkar Stadium, the alternate venue. He had faxed his report on the facilities there and a final decision is likely in a day.
