
CALCUTTA, FEBRUARY 16: Grandmaster Gregory Kiadanov US with 8.5 points emerged champion in the 11th Goodricke International Open Chess Tournament with a hard-fought draw against triple GM norm holder Krishnan Sasikiran India, who managed to collect 7.5 points in the final round which concluded here on Wednesday.
International Master GB Prakash 7 points secured his maiden GM norm with a thumping victory over GM Maxim Sorokin of Argentina.
TS Ravi 7 points made his second and final IM norm by defeating former World under-10 champion P Harikrishna 6 points in a game of fluctuating fortunes.
