Katich scored 118 and Gilchrist 121 in a seventh-wicket stand which spanned most of the day’s last two sessions and helped Australia to 432, one run behind New Zealand’s first innings score at Jade Stadium.

Arsenal beat Bolton
London: Fredrik Ljungberg scored an early goal to earn Arsenal a 1-0 win over 10-man Bolton Wanderers in a FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday. Bolton’s Senegal striker El-Hadji Diouf was sent off for elbowing Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann in the ninth minute shortly after Arsenal had taken the lead.
