SRINAGAR, December 22: Militants gunned down a special police officer SPO in the Kashmir valley since last evening.
Unidentified gunmen barged into the house of an SPO, Hafiz Khan, at Indoo-Achabal in Anantnag district late last night and fired indiscriminately.
Khan, who was working as a 8220;bodyguard8221; of a senior counter-insurgent Abdul Rashid, died on the spot.
