Calcutta, Feb 9: Bengal skipper Syed Saba Karim scored a sparkling unbeaten ton as the four-day Group A Super League Ranji Trophy match between hosts Bengal and Baroda ended in a tame draw at the CCFC Ground today.

Resuming at their overnight score of 242 for two, in reply to Baroda’s mammoth first innings total of 541, Bengal replied with a healthy 450 for five, leaving both teams with three points from this drawn encounter. Saba Karim seemed to be in good touch with an unbeaten 111 while veteran batsman Srikant Kalyani (55) and Rohan Gavaskar (52) chipped in with useful contributions.
