Jerath8217;s judicial remand extended

CHANDIGARH, Dec 23: The judicial remand of suspended UT Chief Engineer K.K. Jerath was today extended till January 6 by UT Additional District and Sessions Judge S.S. Lamba.

The main accused in the engineering departments kickbacks case was granted an extension in judicial remand in all the three cases registered against him. Jerath was earlier sent to judicial custody till December 10 by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class Jagnahar Singh.
