
PUNE, Jan 6: Kirloskar Consultants has been asked by the Pune Municipal Corporation to submit its report on the multi-crore water supply and swewrage scheme by January 15.
The civic officials said Municipal Commissioner Rajiv Agarwal yesterday expressed his displeasure over the delay in submission of the report at a meeting with the company representatives. The sources said the company had agreed to submit the report by January 15 as per the instruction by the Municipal Commissioner.
The sources said the corporation would have no option but to blacklist the company if it failed to submit the report within the deadline. The civic officials said the Municipal Commissioner gave the company ultimatum to submit the report latest within 10 days. The commissioner also made it clear that the company should not wait for any queries to be clarified by the corporation since it was already in possession with all the details of the entire project.
The civic sources said the PMC had already initiated the process of allotting the work to some other firm in the event of Consultants expressing its inability to submit the report.
