IPOs in demat

MUMBAI: The Sebi is planning to bring initial public offerings IPOs in the primary market through the demat mode once again. The primary market committee of Sebi which will meet on July 23 is likely to consider this proposal. Finance minister Yashwant Sinha, who visited Mumbai last week, had proposed a quick move for bringing new issues in the demat mode to bring down costs to investors.
