
LUDHIANA, May 20: The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has set up an international training centre to organise various training programmes for overseas scientists, technologists, and extension functionaries.
The proposal for the Centre has been approved by the V-C . According to Director of extension education, in recognition of the knowledge, experience, and information existing in various departments of the university, the PAU has been approached by various foreign institutes, agencies and organizations from time to time to conduct training courses on different subjects.
So far, these courses were organized by the individual departments.
