NEW DELHI, June 11: A four- member Indian team will represent the country in the seventh World Junior golf team championship to be held at Osaka, Japan, from June 18 to 21.

The team comprising Shiv Kapur, Suleman Ali Delhi, Arjun Singh Calcutta and Sandeep Syal Chennai will leave for Osaka on June 13. Ajay Gupta will accompany the team as a coach and non playing captain will be K.Rajagopal.

This is the first time that India has been invited to take part in the world junior golf championship. Fourteen countries 8212; Argentina, Canada, Columbia, England, India, Korea, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Zimbabwe and host Japan 8212; are taking part in this four-day championship which is only for the under 18-year-old golfers.
