India-Spain opener

BANGALORE, May 28: India opens its campaign with a match against Spain in the sixth junior World Cup hockey tournament to be played at Milton Keynes in England from September 17 to 28.

Pool A8217; comprises India, Australia, Belgium, Cuba, Holland and Spain. Pool B8217; includes Pakistan, Argentina, England, Egypt, Germany and Japan.

The schedule: Sep 17: Pakistan vs Egypt; England vs Japan, Argentina vs Germany, Australia vs Cuba. Sep 18: India vs Spain; Holland vs Belgium; England vs Egypt, Pakistan vs Argentina. Sept 19: Germany vs Japan, Spain vs Cuba, Australia vs Holland.

Sep 20: Argentina vs Egypt, Germany vs England, Pakistan vs Japan. Sep 21: Belgium vs Cuba, India vs Australia, Holland vs Spain. Sep 22: Japan vs Egypt, Pakistan vs Germany; England vs Argentina, India vs Cuba. Sep 23 : Australia vs Holland, Spain vs Belgium, Japan vs Argentina, Pakistan vs England.
