India-SA series not to see Oval shadow, says Doctrove

Port-of-Spain: Umpire Billy Doctrove pic left says The Oval Test fiasco was the 8220;most testing moment8221; of his international career but asserts he would not allow it to affect his upcoming assignment 8212; the ODI series between India and South Africa. Doctrove, who stood with Darrell Hair in The Oval Test between Pakistan and England in August, will officiate in the series between India and South Africa starting November 19 after being ignored for the Champions Trophy.

8220;That period has been a very testing time for me, probably the most testing in my career so far,8221; Doctrove told the West Indies Cricket Board8217;s official website. 8220;But as you know, I have always been a positive person and it is my intention to go out there and continue to do what I have been doing and do my best so that I can make myself, my family and my country proud,8221; he said and added, 8220;I am looking forward to the opportunity to perform as I have done in the past.
