
S. A. S. NAGAR, June 23: The Siyaram Cup day and night match between India XI and Sri Lanka XI which was scheduled to be played at Punjab Cricket Association stadium on June 26 has been rescheduled. The match will now be played on July 10 at the same venue. The Indian and Sri Lankan players who played in the recently concluded World Cup will play in the match.
G. S. Sandhu, Executive Secretary of PCA, said that the match has been postponed because of the non-availability of the Sri Lankan players. He added that the tickets which have been sold till date will be valid for the rescheduled match. The sale of tickets is on at the special counters set up by PCA in the stadium at Gate Nos. 5 and 11. Additional counters will also be opened at Chandigarh and Panchkula.
