NEW DELHI: Former cricketer Madan Lal has taken up a new role that of a scribe.

He will commence his innings as editor of a Hindi monthly titled Cricket Bharati, a publication of Nai Sadi Prakashan, this month.

BANGALORE: Matches in Group C8217; of the Second Division National Football League, are scheduled to begin here from tomorrow.

The six teams in this group are the Indian Telephone Industries Karnataka, Sesa Goa Goa, State Bank of Travancore Kerala, Southern Railway TN, Central Railway Mumbai and South Central Railway AP.

In the opening tie, ITI will take on South Central Railway.
