CHENNAI: Indian juniors men8217;s volleyball team beat Australia 3-0 in their league match in the Asian qualification volleyball tournament for the World Championship at Ubon Rathathani Thailand, according to a press release received from the Volleyball Federation of India VFI. India won 25-18, 25-19, 27-25.

Madan action
MUMBAI: Disciplinary action against Madan Lal, if any, will be taken only after Madan Lal8217;s reply to the letter which the board has sent to him, informed Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI sources. Madan, who is a national selector representing North Zone, is seen taking part in Zee News panel discussions on the World Cup. This is against the rules of the Board and thus a letter seeking an explanation was despatched to Madan8217;s residence on Wednesday.
Guru Hanuman dispute
NEW DELHI: Olympians Satpal and Sudesh Kumar, disciples of Guru Hanuman, have denied any dispute over the property of the Dronacharaya awardee, who died in a car crash on Monday.
They were reacting to reports in a section of press that a dispute over the property owned by Guru Hanuman had cropped up soon after his death.
The two Olympians are among the 22 grapplers who, in a press statement, denied the reports and said the matter would be taken to the court if a denial was not issued.
