Indian squad for World Juniors

NEW DELHI: India will take part in both the boys and girls sections of the NEC World Youth Cup under-16 and World Junior competition under-14 to be held in April-May. The World Youth Cup will be held at Hiroshima from April 25 to May 3, while the under-14 event will start at Jakarta from May 3.

Teams: Boys u-16: Sunil Kumar, Benjamin Xavier, Anant Sitaram. Reserve: Pratim Parekh. u-14: Vikrant Sane, R Arun Prakash, Chatwinder Singh. Reserve: Devendra Singh Bhusari. Girls u-16: T Yamini, Lisa Pereira, Megha Vakharia. Reserve: C Nandita. u-14: Isha Lakhani, Sasha Abraham, Sania Mirza. Reserve: Lata Asudani.

NEW DELHI: Four-time National champion Chetan Baboor has become the first Indian table tennis player to be ranked under 100 in the world. According to the list released by the International Table Tennis Federation for February Baboor is ranked 81.Chetan had beaten world No 1 Liu Guoting China lastmonth.
