Ahmedabad: The hot heads blew their tops and the ice cool Slovaks made most of it. On a day when mercury rose at the AGETA courts compatriots Boris Borgula and Filip Kaskak kept their cool to make the final of the Gold Flake Aces ITF Futures Tennis Tournament an in-house affair here today.

Award for Cairns

Mumbai: Chris Cairns has been chosen named the BPL player of the week January 15-21 by judges Sunil Gavaskar, Vivian Richards and Tony Grieg. Cairns was chosen ahead of contenders like England8217;s Graeme Hick, South Africa8217;s Mark Boucher and Australia8217;s Mark Waugh due to his blistering knock of 115 runs in 80 balls in the final One-dayer against India in Wellington. Cairns will receive 500 as the prize.
