India-Sri Lanka seniors8217; series
NEW DELHI: India seniors will play their Sri Lankan counterparts in a five-match one-day cricket series from August 25 to September 2 for the Freedom 50 Cup to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Independence of both the countries.

Delhi will host the opener with Agra and Amritsar staging two matches each. Sandeep Patil, president of the newly-formed Seniors Cricket Association, said here last night.

CHENNAI: The state-level qualifying meet to select participants for the Special Olympics for the disabled at North Carolina USA from June 25 to July 1 next year, would be held here from July 27-31.
