Talks to enhance Indo-Australian Defence cooperation through training and joint exercises were held today between Australian Defence chief General Peter Cosgrove and the Indian service chiefs, Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Defence Secretary Ajai Vikram Singh.

South Block sources told The Indian Express that Gen Cosgrove discussed furthering defence cooperation between India and Australia with Air Force chief S Krishnaswamy, Army chief General N.C. Vij and Naval chief Admiral Arun Prakash.
