Fee collection suspended8217;
According to a Panjab University Students8217; Council press note released here today collection of fees for Panjab University courses has been suspended pending resolution of students8217; doubts on fee structure. This morning, after another day of agitation over the issue, the university constituted a five-member committee under the Dean University Instruction Ashok Sawhney to go into the matter of fee structure.

Re-evaluation results
The Panjab University declared re-evaluation results of BSc-I on November 12 and the re-evaluation results of BSc-II and BA-III on November 15. Copies of the result gazette are available at the counter in the New Inquiry Building during normal working hours on all working days.

Aristocrat Mega Model contest
Twenty top models of the region will compete for eight titles, besides the Aristocrat Mega Model 99 title at a beauty pageant, Aristocrat Mega Model contest, to be held on November 27 at the Chandigarh Club. The show will be anchored by Pallab Bose and feature a troupe of Russian dancers. Indian Arts, an association of journalists and connoisseurs of art and music, is organising the show.

Relief collection centre set up
The Punjab Education Adventure Club will set up a collection centre for cash donations, food and clothing to be forwarded to Orissa cyclone victims through the Red Cross. Donors can hand over items to the PEAC in front of the office of the Punjab Director Public Instruction Schools SCO 95-96, Sector 17-D.

Musical evening at PU today
Johnny Lever and Vivek Shrivastav, assistant musician to Jatin Lalit will be special guests at a musical evening, Dam Dama Dam, at 4 p.m. on November 18 in the Panjab University Law Auditorium. Dean University Instruction Ashok Sawhney will preside over the function, All India Youth Congress president Munish Tiwari will be the chief guest and Rock Garden Director Nek Chand will be the guest of honour.
