Drive against unauthorised parking
The police have decided to strengthen the drive against unauthorised parking. For this they have hired three cranes so that the traffic police now have six cranes. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic , and all five inspectors in the traffic police will have a crane under their control.

Ghalib Award for PU teacher
Dr Naresh, a professor of Modern Literature at the Panjab University, has been conferred with the Ghalib Award by the Ghalib Educational Society. A press release said that the award was conferred on him at a function held in Solan.
