Annual function
The annual function of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education was held at Lecma theatre today. The function was presided over by G. Vajralingam, Finance Secretary, Chandigarh, who appreciated the concept of integral education which is rapidly being adopted by various schools.

Indo-US workshop
An Indo-US workshop on `Conservation and Development of National Fishery Resources of Western Himalayas’ will be held on December 7 and 8, by the Fish and Fisheries laboratory at the Department of Zoology, Punjab University Chandigarh.

Prizes distributed
The prize distribution function of state-level Youth Parliament competition was held here in Government College of Education, Sector 20. SIE director H C Sharma stressed the importance of such competitions in the life of a student. Local MP Satya Pal Jain emphasised the importance of computer education. He said each school would be provided with a computer, if he was approached with the demand.
