Bangalore, Aug 10: Abducted Kannada actor Rajkumar has once again made a plea for fulfilling the demands of forest brigand Veerappan to set him and three others held hostage by him since July 30, free.

“If the requests (demands) of Veerappan are fulfilled in a good way, I will consider it my good fortune”, Rajkumar said in an appeal to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna.

An audio tape containing Rajkumar’s message in Kannada was played today by private Kannada television channel Udaya TV.

Rajkumar, who has been in Veerappan’s captivity for the second week, said he was happy and nobody was troubling him whatsoever. “I am getting food and hospitality….I am fine in the midst of nature.. in sylvan surroundings forgetting my house..my bondage”.

“Nobody need worry about me. I am fine..I am fine”.

But he hastened to add that he desires to meet all his well-wishers at the earliest.

The 71-year-old star said he was sending the message since it was improper not to respond to his wife, children, fans and women, who were all very worried following the kidnapping.

The cassette had been brought to Chennai by a person early today along with a set of photographs of Rajkumar and three others with Gopal in the jungles.

A Chennai report said Rajkumar began the message in Tamil, saying he was happy and comfortable in the company of Veerappan and his associates and he could hardly feel the passage of ten days.
