Bangalore, June 16: The Indian Hockey Federation on Friday announced a list of 24 players to undergo the second and most crucial phase of Olympic preparations in Bangalore from July 2.
8220;We thought we should tell the players of their problems directly. There could not have been a better way than telling them on a one-to-one basis,8221; IHF president KPS Gill told ENS of the individual interviews. 8220;I am certain the morale of each player when he walked out was much higher than when he walked in,8221; he added.
Goalkeeper Bharat Chettri Kar, defenders Bikramjit Singh Rlys, Kanwalpreet Singh Pun, mid-fielders Shamsuzoha UP, Paramjit Services, forwards Harbhajan Singh BSF and Inderjit Singh Chd are the eight left out from the first list.
