
CHANDIGARH, June 11: The result of the Class X examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination ICSE this year, was declared here today. A total of 639 students had appeared in the examination from seven schools of the City.
According to the convener of the ICSE examination, Andrew Gosain there has been a marginal increase in the pass percentage to 98.5 per cent this year as against 98 per cent last year.
Quite a few students from these schools have scored more than 90 per cent marks in the total aggregate.
As per information available, Manpreet Sandhu of YPS, SAS Nagar has secured 94.3 per cent marks in the aggregate of six subjects. She is followed by Gyan Anjan Kaur of the same school with 93.6 per cent and Dilraj Singh Grewal of St Kabir Public School with 93 per cent marks.
The students of St Stephen8217;s; St Xavier8217;s Higher Secondary School; St Kabir Public School, St Joseph8217;s High School; YPS, SAS Nagar; Tender Heart and Minerva Academy had appeared for this examination.
