Patiala, June 24: A local court here today adjourned till July 10 hearing in the hijacking case of the Indian Airlines plane IC-814. Additional Sessions Judge M S Choha adjourned the hearing after three accused 8212; Abdul Latif alias Patel, Bhupalman Damai alias Yusaf Nepali and Dalip Kumar 8212; were produced in person before him.
The CBI filed a chargesheet in connection with the case in the special court of Additional Sessions Judge J S Chawla against 16 persons, including seven Pakistani nationals, on June 21.
The agency had asked the Interpol to seek their extradition from Pakistan so that they could be tried here.
