They are hilarity personified, with an exclusive style of wit and what better can a viewer expect than all of them performing together. Humor is converging like never before this weekend with KhalliBalli set to roll out wits bringing together the best of 32 humorists. Sharing the fun on and off screen, director Ajay Chandok was in town at Inox with Nikhil Dwivedi, Sada and Suresh Menon in the comic hangover

The film has the actors in roles varying from a film unit to underworld dons put up in a hotel that has a bomb planted by a rival hotelier. The chaos gives way to amusement, promising an uninterrupted laugh riot.

Adding to it Chandok says, 8220;It is a mindless comedy. Actually the film has four to five tracks and the characters are all apt for those situations. Comedy defines them and having them for my film was wonderful and managing them was a real task. We were a funny family and you can imagine what it can be like when 32 comedians are on one set. The film also has a variety of songs, which complement the story including a Qawwali. It is a remake of the Tamil film, whose plot fascinated me the most and inspired to take it to a larger audience.8221;

KhalliBalli is Nikhil Dwivedi8217;s first comedy film. 8220;I assure that you will be laughing from the first to the last frame. In fact, I was doing the same while dubbing the film. It8217;s a light popcorn film but with an interesting storyline. The fact that so many actors agreed to pull off the role shows that each one has something unusual to perform in it. It is the coming together of all famous names of television and big screen with a great timing and humour imbibed in them. My role is of a modern boy who is on a runway because of a mistaken love identity and eventually lands up in the hotel being a part of the gang,8221; adds Dwivedi.

Having starred in several films in the South, Sana debuts in Hindi films with KhalliBalli. The film has her getting back to her mother tongue as she adds, 8220;I am playing the role of a smart girl, forced to run away since I am being blamed for breaking the wedding of a don8217;s daughter. I am happy and excited to be kicking off with a comedy film.8221;

Chandok claims that Menon is the film8217;s backbone whose presence itself suggests droll. 8220;I am a bellboy in the film, a south Indian character and have some of the funniest dialogues in the Malayali accent. I have been lucky enough to have a significant role but still clueless why I haven8217;t been given a single shot with the heroine. However with artists from Johnny Lever to Chunkey Pandey who is always in his Hawaiian shorts and the seniors like Asrani and Rakesh Bedi, I am sure it will be an extraordinary treat. Comedy films don8217;t work if not made seriously but a serious film if not made properly look like a comedy. We have been serious enough,8221; smiles Menon.
