HUDA demolition drive continues

PANCHKULA, NOV 17: The Haryana Urban Development Authority HUDA today continued with its demolition drive in Sector 7 here. Today also, the corner houses on the B roads were targeted.Meanwhile, the demolition was being done at a much rapid pace, as more workers had been employed and simultaneously it was being carried out in two-three houses.

However, some of the residents complained that HUDA8217;s action was unjustified. One of the resident, Subhash Sharma, said that the residents are still not clear about the drive as first HUDA had issued notices to all the residents. Also, some residents are complaining that after demolition, HUDA leaves the malba there and some period is given to the residents to remove it otherwise HUDA will remove it but at the cost of the residents. But it has created problems as the residents are finding difficult to find space for disposing off the malba.
