You party a lot. How do you avoid eating out?
I always have dinner at home and leave late to ensure that I don’t feel hungry.
Tell us about your fitness schedule.
Though I have given up exercising temporarily, I burn a lot of calories just by being active. I am always on my feet and use the stairs all the time. My factory is spread over three storeys and that helps. Basically, a sedentary job is the surest way to gain weight.
What is your take on working out?
Working out is very important. By keeping active, I may not put on weight. But for that toned look, regular exercises are a must. I plan to get back to it as soon as possible. Exercises are also good for gaining vitality and stamina.
Do you follow any specific diet plan?
I believe in eating healthy. I’m against starving to lose weight. I begin my day with masala tea, which boosts immunity against cold and throat infection. That is followed by a glass of milk, two slices of toast and a scrambled egg. For lunch and dinner, I have home-cooked food with controlled intake of proteins, pulses and carbs. I never eat between meals.
You have to do a lot of socialising. How do you avoid eating out?
When going out at night, I ensure that I have dinner at home and leave late so that I don’t feel hungry. But that doesn’t mean I don’t eat out, I just avoid certain things.
What do you avoid?
I steer clear of sugary items and fizzy drinks. Greasy food is also a strict no-no. But whenever I feel that I am fit and fine, I treat myself to dark chocolates. They are my biggest weakness.
