Did you have a tough time doing the rope dance in Kisna?
I8217;ve been learning mallakhamb a martial art for the past seven years, so it wasn8217;t that difficult.
DIET: I CAN8217;T start my day without a few cups of chai. After that, I eat a carb-heavy breakfast of porridge, toast or cornflakes. Lunch and dinner are simple meals of dal, rotis and sabzi. I snack on fruits between meals. I8217;m crazy about sweets, especially cheesecake, and I don8217;t stop myself from gorging on them. I just stay away from pickles and oily stuff, as I tend to get pimples. I also love pastas, gol gappas and Gujju food like chaat.
EXERCISE: I PREFER to work out at home than go to a gym. I like to practice yoga, and run. When I8217;m in Kerala, I practice dance for eight to 10 hours a day. When you8217;re training that much, you can eat anything and not put on weight. Like sportspersons, dancers are also disciplined. You have to maintain your body and it8217;s not for cosmetic reasons. Even if I have a shoot at 6.30 am, I wake up at 3.30 to exercise. I have to get in those two hours every day.
PROBLEM AREAS: I HAVE a weak back, so I have to be careful while working out. I do special stretches to ease the spasms.
