The few minutes of football that had to be played between Jammu 038; Kashmir and Punjab following Saturday8217;s fracas attracted few spectators on a Sunday morning. It did nothing to change the fact, however, that the end of J038;K8217;s run in the tournament was close 8212; 22 minutes away to be precise. As it happened, this quarter-final league match had no more goals to add to Sukhvinder Singh8217;s scorcher from the day before, and left J038;K with no points from two matches in Pool A.

Services have sealed their last four place, and it is left to Punjab and Kerala 3 points each to fight it out for the other spot.

The AIFF, meanwhile, has been sent a report of the violence that broke out yesterday. 8220;We sent the report across yesterday. The tournament will go on as scheduled for now, though the future hosting of events here could be affected,8221; said an AIFF official here.
