CHANDIGARH, June 1: The Haryana government has posted Balbir Singh Malik, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil)-cum-additional collector, Pehowa, as Executive Magistrate, Kurukshetra, reliving Ashok Kumar Yadav of the said charge.Girish Arora, Secretary, RTA, Rohtak, has been posted as SDO (Civil), Pehowa.Kulwant Kumar Kalson, EAC (UT), Kurukshetra, has been posted as City Magistrate, Kurukshetra, vice Jai Singh Sangwan, HCS.S. S. Dalal, Secretary Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, and Dharam Pal Singh, City Magistrate, Faridabad will swap places.A. K. Misra, District Development and Panchayat Officer, Panipat, and Lala Ram Yadav, DDPO, Jhajjar, will also swap their places of posting.Gian singh Jt Director, Industrial Training and Vocational Education becomes Joint Director (Admn), Science and Tech.

A moving AC sleeper bus caught fire on the Jaisalmer-Jodhpur Highway, leaving around 20 people dead and many others with severe burns. The bus, carrying 57 passengers, caught fire due to a short circuit and quickly engulfed in flames. The Jaisalmer District Collector has requested family members to identify the deceased.
