GUWAHATI, JUNE 24: Kanaksen Deka, editor of a local daily Agradoot, was today arrested after he failed to appear in a court in connection with a defamation case.

Later, however, he was released on bail.

Deka failed to appear in the court of the chief judicial magistrate here in connection with a defamation case related to a government department.
