CHANDIGARH, Jan 4: Godrej Club beat Bombay Club by 61 runs while ICC XI beat Chetna Club by 36 runs in the tenth Bathany Cup cricket tournament here today.

Arun Tuli 70 n.o. and 3 for 23, Viresh Sharda 51 and Girish Bhanot 4 for 14 shone for Godrej Club.

In the other match, Vikram Khajuria 44 and Rajesh Patha 40 combined well for ICC XI.

Scores: Godrej Club: 223 for 8 Arun Tuli 70 n.o., Viresh Sharda 51, Vaneet Chawla 28, Rakesh Purang 18; Tarun Dev 2-26, Prem 2-37 beat Bombay Club: 162 Umesh 39, Rajesh 20, Sanjeev Kaushik 25, Manoj 17; Girish Bhanot 4-14, Arun Tuli 3-23.

ICC XI: 163 for 8 Rajesh Patha 40, Vikram Khajuria 44; Munish 2-25, Harpreet 2-22 beat Chetna Club: 127 Dinesh Mongia 35, Munish 18, Sanjeev 17; Satnam 2-13, Gurpreet 3-13.

School Games
The National School Games in the discipline of football under-14 scheduled to be held at Port Blair from January 12 to 17, has been postponed. According to BD Gandhi, secretary, SGFI, new dates would be announced in due course.
