A fact-finding committee, set up by All India Milli Council AIMC to probe the communal violence at Sanvordem town in south Goa on March 3-4, has put the blame on the Sangh Parivar.
The panel, headed by Supreme Court lawyer Nandita Haksar, blamed the Parivar and other political forces for the violence and alleged discrimination against the minority community in Goa. The panel also castigated BJP leaders, particularly former CM Manohar Parrikar for accusing the minority community of being responsible for the violence.
The report states that the minority community has been denied human rights in Goa since the 8217;90s and it blames the Congress government too. The Council has demanded a White Paper on the Sanvordem violence.
